Well Folks... i'm 20 years old, and I've been on planes about 67 times... not that many but I've been traveling a lot! To alot of different places! Travelling is a lot of fun! And it's a luxury that most people don't get a chance to do! Alot of people are worried about travelling. Like there are so many pressures when it comes to travel! So many concers about everything!
I always like to follow the same thing my parents do when they travel! So when i travel... I don't even go to a travel agency! But a lot of people love doing that! It makes complete sense to use a professional to help you plan your trip! Seeing as you don't know the area you'd be visiting! Now it depends on where you are traveling to... like if your going to travel domestically I recommend just go... spur of the moment type thing... and just use some internet sites... travel sites and book your plane tickets and hotel all at once... come on folks traveling in America is very easy... your going from State to State!
Now if your going to an exotic location! and you are deciding to travel to parts unknown... go to a TRAVEL AGENT... they know the area better than you... and they'll let you know what you should and shoulnd't do... but if you adventurous like me... just buy the tickets... and just go... don't even worry about where you are going to stay... you are going to travel... make it an adventure!
